A Celebration in Full Bloom: Fleurs de Villes Downton Abbey, Presented by Oakridge Park
This spring, Oakridge Park proudly presented the Canadian premiere of Fleurs de Villes Downton Abbey, a captivating floral exhibition that brought the opulence, elegance, and cultural resonance of the beloved British series to life. In partnership with VanDusen Botanical Garden and produced by the renowned Fleurs de Villes team, the experience wove together floristry, storytelling, and immersive design.
Oakridge Park hosted an intimate evening at the Oakridge Park Gallery where guests were invited to a private preview of the satellite exhibition that showcased three floral displays exclusive to the gallery. The evening unfolded with light refreshments and a hands-on Pressed Floral Masterclass, where each guest designed their own framed botanical artwork to take home — a lasting memory in bloom.
At the heart of the 10-day showcase was a garden trail adorned with over 20 fresh floral installations inspired by Downton Abbey’s most iconic characters and period fashion. Visitors were invited to cast their vote for their favourite installation for a chance to win a $1,500 Oakridge Park shopping spree, featuring gift cards from Canadian retailers, Aritzia, Lululemon, and Arc’teryx.
To commemorate the occasion, Oakridge Park debuted a complimentary Afternoon Tea Photo Moment beside the event’s central JARDIN tent. Inspired by English garden parties, the elegant set invited guests to capture their visit as a keepsake of their visit.
From the gallery to the garden, Oakridge Park’s presence throughout the experience was a reflection of the brand’s commitment to artistry, community, and culture.
As Vancouver’s future cultural hub, Oakridge Park continues to shape a new era of curated experiences, where nature, design, and creativity meet to inspire moments that linger long after the final bloom.
